Asymmetrical Moro Response in Neurologically Normal Infants

An asymmetrical Moro response has been demonstrated in three infants with no neurological or local abnormality. It has been ascribed to the spontaneous closure of one hand at the time of the procedure and does not occur when both the hands are open.
